Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosted the award ceremony for Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of South Ossetia to the Russian Federation, Znaur Gassiev, the press service of the diplomatic department reports.
The head of the South Ossetian diplomatic mission was presented with the award by Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin.
“We highly appreciate your tireless work in the name of your country and your Motherland, in the name of allied and partnership relations between Russia and South Ossetia. Thanks to you for your contribution as Ambassador of the Republic to Russia to the development of our alliance and partnership, I would like to fulfill the honorary assignment of Sergei Lavrov and present you with the award “For Contribution to International Cooperation,” Galuzin said.
Znaur Gassiev expressed gratitude to his colleague for the honor and emphasized that the activities of the South Ossetian mission would continue to be aimed at further strengthening friendly relations between the fraternal countries.
During the meeting, taken place in the traditional atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding, current issues of interaction in solving the problems of progressive advancement of bilateral ties in accordance with the agreements of presidents of South Ossetia and Russia have been discussed.
