In Tskhinval it has been paid last tributes to David Sanakoev, a fighter from South Ossetia perished while performing his military duty in the zone of the special military operation.
The farewell ceremony was attended by President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev, head of the Presidential Executive Office Alan Alborov, Chairman of the Government Konstantin Dzhussoev, Chairman of the Parliament Alan Margiev, friends, colleagues, relatives and friends of the deceased serviceman.
According to the presidential press service, Alan Gagloev expressed condolences to the fighter’s family and loved ones.
By decree of the head of state, David Sanakoev was posthumously awarded the Medal “Defender of the Fatherland.”
David Sanakoev was 37 years old.
