President of South Ossetia Alan Gagloev presented letters of gratitude to the silver medalist of the European Boxing Championship among young men and women Alim Gabaraev and his coach Vadim Kochiev, the press service of the head of state reports.
The meeting was also attended by Chairman of the Committee on Youth Policy and Sports Soslan Gassiev.
Having greeted the athletes, Alan Gagloev thanked them for their great contribution to the development of sports in the Republic and for their good results, noting that South Ossetia always follows the sporting achievements of their fellow citizens with great interest.
“The victories of young athletes are painstaking work and the merit of their coaches. At such a young age, Alim Gabaraev has already achieved such high results. I wish to reach the highest level in sports and be only among the winners along the way,” he said.
At the end of the meeting, the President rewarded the athletes with cash prizes.
