The freestyle wrestler from South Ossetia Alan Zasseev will compete in the World Championship in Croatia, the Republic's Sports Committee reports.
The World Freestyle Wrestling Championship among mat masters will be held from October 8 to 13.
"Alan will compete in the 88 kg weight ckass. He is being trained by coaches Tamerlan Kochiev, Azamat Kabisov and Marat Gagiev," the Committee has noted.
Alan Zasseev - Master of Sports of Russia, the winner of the Russian Junior Championship, bronze medalist of the Russian Championship among mat masters of division A (2022), champion of Russia among mat masters of division A (2023), bronze medalist of the 2023 World Championship, the winner of the Russian Cup of division A (2024), silver medalist of the Russian Championship (2024), a bronze medalist of the BRICS Championship (2024).
