A delegation of the South Ossetian Parliament headed by Speaker Alan Margiev will take part in the XI conference of the North Caucasian Parliamentary Association.
The event will be held on November 19 and 20 in the city of Grozny, Chechen Republic, the press service of the legislative body reports.
"As part of the conference, a meeting of the Association committees will be held, where they will discuss issues of legislation, state building and local self-government. There will also be discussions on economic policy and budget issues, social policy, science, culture and education, interethnic relations, inter-parliamentary relations, etc.," the press service has noted.
As part of the event, the participants will also lay flowers at the first President of the Chechen Republic Memorial Complex of Glory,the, Hero of Russia Akhmat-Khadzhi Kadyrov.
In addition to the Speaker, the delegation will include the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Policy and Inter-parliamentary relations Zaza Driaev and Adviser to Chairman of Parliament Vladimir Dzhagaev.
