Since 2014, the volunteers from South Ossetia and Abkhazia have once again have joined the ranks, fighting against neo-Nazism in Ukraine, defending the values of justice and freedom, Alan Gagloev said at the inauguration of President of Abkhazia.
He has reminded that since 2022, South Ossetia and Abkhazia, fulfilling their allied duty, supported Russia's decision to launch the special military operation to save the residents of Donbass from genocide by the Kyiv regime.
“As during the Great Patriotic War, today, on the fronts of the special military operation, representatives of our peoples are making their contribution to the common victory. They are fighting shoulder to shoulder with their Russian brothers, realizing that the defense of Russia is the defense of our common great Motherland, common values, and the defense of our republics,” the President has emphasized.
Gagloev also noted the importance of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, having reminded the price of freedom and peace.
“We remember the feat of the Soviet soldiers who liberated the world from Nazism, we honor their memory. We honor the memory of everyone who gave their lives in the fight for justice during the special military operation, we are proud of the courage of those who are on the front lines today. Victory will definitely be ours!” Alan Gagloev has concluded.
