On Tuesday, the Tskhinval College of Music hosted a master class in academic vocals by opera diva, People's Artist of Ossetia, Honored Artist of Russia, Dagestan Veronika Dzhioeva.
The event was attended by representatives of Ministry of Culture of South Ossetia, students and teachers of the music college and music schools of the Republic.
The world-famous Veronika Dzhioeva gave the unique advice to young vocalists and shared her professional secrets with the children.
Veronika Dzhioeva expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Culture, represented by Rada Dzagoeva, for organizing her visit.
As reported to the “Res” news agency by Dzhioeva, despite her busy tour schedule, she will try to come to Tskhinval more often and share her skills with the aspiring vocalists.
“After today’s master class, I am in a very good mood. I would really like young vocalists to perform on stage more often, to participate in various concerts, so that they are not afraid of the audience and are bolder. I myself did not study in a classroom, but only on stage,” Dzhioeva has noted.
Director of the music school, Zhanetta Gagieva, has emphasized that Veronika Dzhioeva’s arrival is a huge event, a triumph for vocal teachers and students.
“I am grateful to Veronika Dzhioeva that she does not forget about us. I wish that we could feed on her positive energy more often. Our children have very high potential. We will be following her advice and will be developing,” Gagieva has noted.
