South Ossetian leader Alan Gagloev has received Pavel Prokudin, Adviser to President of Transnistria, who arrived in Tskhinval to celebrate the Republic's 35th anniversary.
Alan Gagloev has warmly welcomed his guest, noting that the ties between South Ossetia and the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic are deeply rooted.
"Tomorrow, South Ossetia will be celebraing a national holiday – the 35th anniversary of the Republic's founding. In addition to the celebrations, the First International Economic Forum is being held in Tskhinval, so it is very important for us that you are sharing our celebration with us. Pavel Prokudin thanked Alan Gagloev for the warm and cordial welcome, noting that he was pleased to have the opportunity to congratulate the people of South Ossetia on such a significant date.

On behalf of the PMR President Vadim Krasnoselsky and on his own behalf, Pavel Prokudin once again congratulated Alan Gagloev on the upcoming holiday and presented him with the Order of Grigory Aleksandrovich Potemkin-Tavrichesky for his services in strengthening international cooperation between the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic and the Republic of South Ossetia.
By decree of President of the Republic of South Ossetia, Pavel Prokudin was awarded the Medal "In Commemoration of the 35th Anniversary of the Republic of South Ossetia" and was also presented with a commemorative coin issued by the National Bank for the 35th anniversary of the Republic of South Ossetia.
At the end of the meeting, the parties exchanged commemorative gifts.
The meeting was also attended by Foreign Minister of the Republic of South Ossetia Akhsar Dzhioev and the head of the Official Representation of the PMR in the Republic of South Ossetia Alan Pliev.
