At the meeting with the investors in South Ossetia, Russian Deputy Minister of Economic Development Sergey Nazarov announced the decisions made by the Russian President in response to the Republic's President's request for concessional lending.
According to him, starting in 2026, concessional lending will cover the implementation of a number of projects.
"Representatives from VTB, Rosselkhozbank, and VEB.RF are here. As far as I know, VTB has evaluated a number of projects for implementation. I would like to hear the banks' assessments and opinions regarding the lending options that will bring the greatest benefit to the South Ossetian economy," Nazarov said.
Nazarov also noted that the experience of previously implemented projects could be studied.
He has emphasized that the possibility of assisting in establishing cooperative ties between the South Ossetian and Russian enterprises is being discussed.
"We have inspected the enterprises today and have realized that they all share a common problem: difficulties with product sales for specific reasons. I believe that expanding product sales opportunities is the important factor that can be worked out and developed," Nazarov has emphasized.
