Delegations from the South Ossetian parliament and the Federation Council will meet at the next meeting of the parliamentary commission on cooperation, the press service of the South Ossetian Parliament reported.
The meeting of the commission on inte-parliamentary cooperation will be held on November 7 in Cherkessk.
The press service has clarified that 11 issues will be brought up for consideration.
"These include the legislative framework for the implementation of the Treaty of Alliance and Integration signed between the Russian Federation and the Republic of South Ossetia, Russia's support for South Ossetia, increasing the basic portion of financial assistance, raising the wages of certain categories of citizens to the subsistence minimum, the Russian Federation's recognition of insurance coverage in the Republic of South Ossetia after 1991, assistance in searching for missing participants in the special military operation from South Ossetia, and others," the parliamentary committee listed.
The South Ossetian parliamentary delegation will be led by Zaza Driyaev, co-chair of the commission from the South Ossetian side and chairman of the parliamentary committee on foreign policy and inter-parliamentary relations.
Also participating in the meeting will be Soslan Gagiev, chairman of the committee on defense and security; Arsen Kvezerov, chairman of the committee on economy, small business, and agriculture; Alexander Pliev, chairman of the committee on social policy and healthcare; and Spartak Tomaev, chairman of the committee on budget and taxes.
The Russian side will be represented by Viktor Bondarev, First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Defense and Security and Co-Chair of the Russian part of the Commission; Krym Kazanokov, Member of the Federation Council Committee on Defense and Security; Natalia Kosikhina, Member of the Federation Council Committee on Social Policy; Natalia Melnikova, Member of the Federation Council Committee on Social Policy; Vitaly Nazarenko, Member of the Federation Council Committee on Federal Structure, Regional Policy, Local Self-Government, and Northern Affairs; Nadezhda Dakhova, Deputy Head of the CIS Department of the Federation Council's Office of International Relations and Executive Secretary of the Russian part of the Commission; and Alexei Sinegubov, Deputy Director of the Fourth Department of CIS Countries at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
