South Ossetian President Alan Gagloev met with Igor Doguzov, a participant in the special military operation.
The head of state thanked the soldier for his faithful service, bravery, and courage on the battlefield.
"An Ossetian who values his homeland, nation, and family name deserves immense respect. Ossetia is proud of such brave soldiers. Thank you for being here. We are looking forward to welcoming you all to victory, "Alan Gagloev said.
Igor Doguzov expressed gratitude to the President for his attention and continued support of the soldiers.
For his courage and bravery displayed in the line of duty during the special military operation, Gagloev awarded the soldier the "Defender of the Fatherland" medal.
