For several years, the UN General Assembly has been adopting the draft resolution introduced by Georgia on refugees and internally displaced persons from Abkhazia and South Ossetia. Repeating from year after year the text of the document, Georgia tries to impose on the world community one-sided, politicized and distorted vision of the refugee question, in order to back up its illegitimate territorial claims.

June 12 Russian people celebrate an important political holiday – Russia Day. Today the Russian Federation meets this date as a strong and confident in its abilities and prospects country of great international standing. This was stated by the President of South Ossetia Leonid Tibilov at a state reception on the occasion of Russia Day in the Russian Embassy in the Republic of South Ossetia, where were also invited members of the government, MPs, heads of the town and district administrations, representatives of scientific and creative intelligentsia of the Republic.

South Ossetian President Leonid Tibilov has received the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Tatarstan Irek Fayzullin, arrived in the Republic on a working visit.
At the beginning of the meeting the head of state has stressed that the reconstruction works in the Republic entered the active phase, he listed the projects, commissioning of which is planned in the near future. The President thanked the representatives of the Ministry of Construction of Tatarstan for the assistance, professionalism and responsible attitude to their work.

Issues of security and law and order during the preparation and conducting of parliamentary elections in South Ossetia were discussed at the meeting of the Security Council of the Republic, held today under the chairmanship of President Leonid Tibilov.

President Leonid Tibilov has received today the Chairman of the Accounts Chamber of the Krasnodar Territory, the former head of Krasnodar University of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Russia Yuri Agafonov and Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Chechen Republic Igor Matvienko. The meeting was also attended by Minister of Internal Affairs of South Ossetia Akhsar Lavoev.

Ministry of Finance of the Republic has received more than 403 million rubles for realization of the Investment Program to promote socio-economic development of South Ossetia in 2014, stated Finance Minister of South Ossetia Aza Khabalova.
She has noted that "the trend of ordering the state budget expenditures, targeted and effective use of financial assistance is closely connected with the activities of the Chairman of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation Tatyana Golikova and Deputy Prime Minister, Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the North Caucasus Federal District Alexander Khloponin."

Leonid Tibilov has received a native of South Ossetia, a prominent Russian businessman Vadim Vaneev.
The Head of State welcomed his compatriot on his native soil, wishing him to achieve all the goals.
"People of South Ossetia put great hopes on you, closely monitoring your progress," - said the President.
In turn, Vadim Vaneev has thanked Leonid Tibilov for the warm welcome, noting that the leadership of the Russian Federation fully supports him in his efforts to help his homeland.

The head of the Department of the President of the Russian Federation for socio-economic cooperation with the CIS states, the Republic of South Ossetia and Abkhazia Oleg Govorun has arrived in South Ossetia on a working visit.
During the visit took place the meeting of Oleg Govorun with Leonid Tibilov, they discussed the progress of construction of objects included into the Investment program to promote socio- economic development of South Ossetia in 2014.
In addition, the meeting touched on the draft investment program to promote socio-economic development of South Ossetia for 2015- 2017 as well as preparations for the next IGC meeting.

The available data suggest that three Georgian TV journalists intentionally and deliberately violated the state border between South Ossetia and Georgia, moving from the Georgian border village of Adzvi to the adjacent South Ossetian village, where they began filming the border infrastructure.

President of the Republic of South Ossetia Leonid Tibilov has received the deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, the Hero of Russia Andrei Krasov.
At the beginning of the meeting the President expressed gratitude to the Russian colleagues for their attention to socio-economic and political processes in South Ossetia.
