The President of the Republic of South Ossetia Eduard Kokoity has sent the telegram with his condolences to the Vice President of the Republic of Abkhazia Alexander Ankvab on the death of the President of the Republic of Abkhazia Sergey Bagapsh. In the telegram, in particular, is said:"We have perceived with pain in heart and with inescapable feeling of loss the tragic news about untimely death of the prominent son of the Abkhazian people Sergey Vasilievich Bagapsh. A man who honestly did his duty before his Native land, a man who lived with dignity and courage, has left this world today. Great erudition, superior intellect and exclusive management abilities of Sergey Vasilievich always promoted the welfare of his nation; many recent achievements of Abkhazia in a certain degree are connected with his name.

The President of the Transdniestria Moldavian Republic Igor Smirnov has sent a telegram to the President of the Republic of South Ossetia Eduard Kokoity on the occasion of the 19-th anniversary of Zarskaya tragedy. In the telegram, in particular, is said: "Dear Eduard Dzhabeevich! On behalf of the leadership of the Transdniestria Moldavian Republic and on behalf of myself personally I express high respect and send the words of empathy and support in this mourning for the people of South Ossetia day. 19 years ago, on 20 May 1992, the monstrous tragedy has occurred in South Ossetia. On Zarskaya road – the single way from the siege Tskhinval to the safe North Ossetia – the Georgian gunmen shot the unarmed refugees. This tragedy, the victims of which became the peaceful inhabitants- women, children and oldsters-has struck the whole civilized world by its cruelty. It testifies, that under the pseudo-peaceful statements of Tbilisi stands the policy of the merciless genocide, conducted with reference to the ossetians.

The Leader of the South-Ossetian group within the framework of the Mechanisms for prevention and reaction on the incidents at the boundary of RSO (MPRI) Merab Chigoev has made a statement concerning the transferring of the meetings of this size from the village Ergneti, where they had been conducted for a long time, into the other place, has informed the official site of the Plenipotentiary of the President of RSO for questions of the post conflict settlement. Merab Chigoev explained that the position of South Ossetia remained the same one.

A state border – is one of the attributes of the modern state. Any state supposes the border, the protection and the guard of which expresses its state sovereignty.
In the terms of the unaccomplished conflict between the Republic of South Ossetia and Georgia and the non-recognition by the last one of the sovereignty of RSO, the passing of the border between the two states is specified by the Decree-law 2 The-All-Georgian Central Executive Committee and the Council of the National Commissar of the Georgian SSR "About the foundation of the Autonomous region of South-Ossetia" from April 22 1922.
During the last 20 years South Ossetia and Georgia have been found themselves in the condition of the open armed opposition, in the result of which in August 2008, by support of the Russian Federation, Republic of South Ossetia became the recognized sovereign state.

The hysteria of the antigovernmental unrests, accompanied by raids, mass fights and other unlawful actions, in theory, may spread also to the Transcaucasian republics, with the exception of South Ossetia and Ankhazia. This statement was made by Yana Amelina, head of the Caucasian sector of the Kazan Center of regional and ethno-religious studies, while commenting to IA "RES" on the possibility of repetition of the Near-Eastern scenario in Transcaucasus.
"All Transcaucasian states have a huge internal conflict potential, - said Amelina. – Mass discontent of the population with one or another action of the government or the leadership on the whole are characteristic for them, as well as with the corruption pierced society (we are now talking about Georia, though its leadership is trying naively to popularize Christmas-tale image of this state, which had allegedly got rid of this social evil), a vast gap between the poor and the rich layers of society in the incomes and the opportunities for self-actualization, as well as other social pests, creating the situation on revolution".

The implementation of the complex plan of South Ossetia's rehabilitation was discussed in Moscow during the meeting of the President of South Ossetia Eduard Kokoity and the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. As reported the press-service of the president and governemtn of South Ossetia, this was a working meeting.
