The President of South Ossetia Eduard Kokoity and members of government of the Republic have taken part in the mourning actions devoted to the seventh anniversary of the Beslan tragedy. The delegation of the government has included: the Minister for Emergency Situations Anatoly Bibilov, the Minister for Education, Science and Youth Policy Ariana Dzhioeva, the Chairman of the State Committee for Information and Mass Communications Georgy Kabisov, the Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation in the RSO Elbrus Kargiev and other officials. About 13:00 the music has ceased to play at the first school in Beslan. After two strokes of bell the minute of silence has been announced.

On August, 26, 2011 a round table «The third anniversary of the international recognition: political and legal grounds for independence of the Republic of South Ossetia» with participation of representatives of the Ossetian diasporas of France, Belgium and Holland, organized by the International association of the Ossetian societies "Renaissance" will be held in Paris. The action is timed to the state holiday of South Ossetia - Independence Recognition Day.

On personal order of the President of Georgia Saakashvili the next provocation against Russia is planned to be conducted by special services of Georgia at the end of August. Some kind of recruitment is taking place among the Georgian "refugees" who have left the territory of South Ossetia in August, 2008, for their involving in participation in so-called «peace march» in Leningor. The target of the action is- to draw attention of the world community to problems of the Georgian "refugees" from South Ossetia by false moaning.

The Parliament of South Ossetia has confirmed a parliamentary quota of the Central Election Committee members of the Republic in number of seven persons at today's session. According to the Speaker of the Parliament Stanislav Kochiev, three candidates of the party "Unity", two candidates of the People`s Party and two of the Communist Party are presented to the Central Electoral Committee by arrangement of the fractions.

The western mass-media have tried to represent the war between Georgia and South Ossetia –unrecognized at that moment, -as the war between Russia and Georgia.
