The delegation of South Ossetia headed by President Eduard Kokoity has taken part in the mourning actions in Beslan

The President of South Ossetia Eduard Kokoity and members of government of the Republic have taken part in the mourning actions devoted to the seventh anniversary of the Beslan tragedy. The delegation of the government has included: the Minister for Emergency Situations Anatoly Bibilov, the Minister for Education, Science and Youth Policy Ariana Dzhioeva, the Chairman of the State Committee for Information and Mass Communications Georgy Kabisov, the Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation in the RSO Elbrus Kargiev and other officials. About 13:00 the music has ceased to play at the first school in Beslan. After two strokes of bell the minute of silence has been announced.

Then 334 white spheres, according to the death toll, have been let out in the sky. After that all the gathered in the schoolyard in the cross procession went to the cemetery where are buried the victims of terrorism.  At the cemetery on the sounds of a metronome a man's voice in the presence of three thousand people pronounced the names of the people who had perished seven years ago. People have laid flowers on the tombs of the victims, on the monument «The Grief Tree» and on the monument to the fighters of special divisions. The head of North Ossetia Taymuraz Mamsurov whose two children found themselves hostages seven years ago and the President of South Ossetia Eduard Kokoity have also paid the tribute to memory of the victims. It should be noticed that today the citizens of South Ossetia together with their brothers in North Ossetia have grieved on innocent killed victims. At 13:15 in South Ossetia memory of the victims of   terrorism has been honored by the minute of silence. «It`s so hard to speak, so much emotions, pain, memoirs … Today we have arrived in Beslan to honour the memory of those who perished in terrible September days, 2004», - Ariana Dzhioeva has said to the news agency "Res". «All of them wanted to live; they came for a holiday which turned out to become the horrible tragedy. The people of South Ossetia have suffered a lot of grief, therefore we share in the sorrow of our brothers, and we will be always together to win such awful evil as terrorism», - she has noted. It should be reminded that the act of terrorism which occurred in Beslan in September, 2004, became the most terrible and brutal tragedy in the mankind contemporary history: in the gym of the №1 Beslan school throughout three days 1 thousand 128 hostages had been hold by terrorists. On the third of September at 13:15 the first explosion was resounded in the school gym and then the operation on rescuing the hostages has launched. The total amount of the lost people is 335, including 186 children; more than 800 persons had wounds of different severity.
