The KGB of South Ossetia once again draws the attention of the Tbilisi regime to the fact that there are no so-called occupation forces on the territory of the Republic. South Ossetia is a state recognized by a number of countries of the international community, the security service said in a statement on Friday.

The KGB recommends the Georgian authorities to study international law and use the correct terminology in relation to the independent state of the Republic of South Ossetia.

Last weekend in South Ossetia no new cases of coronavirus infection were detected, all tests conducted these days are negative, said Anna Gagloeva, Deputy head of the South Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee, told IA "Res" on Friday.

The day before, 70 tests were performed in the laboratory of the Committee (more than 1,071 in total).

Five people diagnosed with a new coronavirus infection were discharged from the Republican Medical Center of South Ossetia after recovery.

"Five patients of the infectious diseases hospital were released home these days after repeating triple samples that showed a negative result," the press service of the Health Ministry of the Republic told IA "Res ".

According to the press service, the remaining 28 patients who have laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 have a stable condition, many of them have no temperature, some are already preparing for discharge.
