The delegation of South Ossetia is taking part in the first international Investment Forum in Donetsk. South Ossetian athlete Sarmat Ikaev won the powerlifting World Cup. The competitions were held in Moscow (Dolgoprudny).
Ikaev won the deadlift, lifting the bar weighing 285 kg, performing in the weight class up to 125 kg among juniors under 23 years of age.
Commenting on his victory to the Res agency, the athlete noted that he had beaten his rivals by several kilograms.
