The Correspondent of agency “Res” was informed by the press-service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of RSO that the Republic of South Ossetia was visited by a delegation of French politologists. The delegation consisted of Jerar Shalyan, politologist, expert on armed conflicts, Sophie Musse, politologist, Ani Jafalyan, politologist, Sevak Artsruni, Head of the Union of Public Organizations on Repatriation and Settlement “Erkir”.
During the visit a meeting with the Secretary of the South Ossetian side of the JCC Leonid Tibilov, Plenipotentiary Representative of South Ossetia in Russian Federation, Dimitry Medoev and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the RSO,Murat Dzhioev, as well as the representatives of NGO community of the Republic.
In the course of the meeting the French politologists were interested in issues related with development of statehood of the Republic of South Ossetia, the process of Georgian-Ossetian conflict resolution, vision of further relations between the Republic of South Ossetia and Georgia.
