«Unfortunately, Georgia does not cease the provocative actions directed on destabilization of the situation in South Ossetia. The shellings of the settlements of the republic have become regular; the military provocations directed on the representatives of the law-enforcement structures have recently become frequent. The occurring events cause deep concern in Abkhazia. We not times have paid attention of the international community to the facts of terror and the regular attempts, undertaken by Georgia, on destabilization of the situation both in South Ossetia, and in Abkhazia », is spoken in the communique of the president of Abkhazia Sergey Bagapsh.
In opinion of the President of Abkhazia, the official Tbilisi is not going to refuse the aggressive policy, and all its actions are directed on provoking the large-scale military conflict.
« The management of Abkhazia once again calls the interested in peace settlement of the conflicts the international institutes to influence Georgia with the purpose of prevention of the worst succession of events », is spoken in the statement.
« Abkhazia again calls the United Nations and OSCE to give a precise estimation to the actions of Georgia. The ignoring of our requirements is perceived by the management of Georgia as the direct encouragement and more and more delays the parties in the conflict from the civilized settlement of the problems », has declared Bagapsh.
The head of Abkhazia has emphasized in his statement, that « such position lays certain responsibility for the escalation of intensity and on the intermediaries in the negotiating process».
