«Special building» of Russia has launched the rehabilitation of buildings at the territory of South Ossetia. More than 30 objects will be rehabilitated at the territory of the Republic including 15 schools (6 in the town and 9 around the republic). Besides that the buildings of Government, KGB, MIA, departments of three regions, State University, post office, bank, «Alan» hotel, fire brigade, library and special squad of militia will be rehabilitated.
«The agency was tasked to put in commission all the 6 schools of the town to the first of September. There is information available that on 30 August will eventuate the opening of one of these schools»-informed a serviceman of the agency.
Moreover, the second and the third blocks of the University are also under rehabilitation as they were less damaged than the first block. Simultaneously «Special Building» of Russia is rehabilitating several objects, but Hotel «Alan» is a priority as by the decree of local authorities it will be inhabited by the returnees.
The hotel is rehabilitated step-by-step – one floor per day. Thus the hotel will be ready to receive homeless people in a week.
«We are not doing a major repair. Our task is to put glasses and provide the building with water and electricity»-mentioned the serviceman.
«Special Building» is taking on workers of all building professions among the local population. There is at the square of Tskhinval a mobile light panel with information on workers taking on, where the data base of agencies is given.
Presently about 400 servicemen are engaged in «Special Building».
