South Ossetian Parliament members are closely following the settlement of the problems faced by the population in borderline areas of the Republic. The Chairman of the Parliament Committee for youth, sports and tourism Kazimir Pliev and the Chairman of the Committee for healthcare and social welfare Alexander Pliev visited Djava district villages. The MPs delivered humanitarian aid to the population in the villages of Sinagur, Tedelet and Djalabet.
"We are doing our best to provide help to residents of the republic. It is crucially important that each and everyone in the republic realizes that he or she is not left alone to face the problems", said Pliev. The South Ossetian MPs had also a meeting with the residents of the village of Sinagur to discuss the the existing problems.

"The main problem, which is relevant everywhere in South Ossetia, is the poor road condition. There are, of course, social problems. There are problems with pensioners. The people who had been working in Soviet times, lost all their papers to prove their working experience. An the only thing that we can do for them is to provide them as to either elderly or disabled", said Lev Gagiev, the Head of Sinagur village administration.
There are many problems on the ground. Marina Zabakhidze, an inhabitant of Sinagur, was complaining about social vulnerability. "The local hospital is under construction for severl years. There is a shortage of medicines. We are grateful for the humanitarian assistance. Many people in our village are unemployed therefore this assistance is very helpful", she said. Having listened to all the requests and complains expressed by the inhabitants of Sinagur, the South Ossetian MPs promised to do their best to ensure well-being of the population.
