Today, October 11, 2010, the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of South Ossetia signed an agreement on the deployment of diplomatic missions of the Russian Federation in the Republic of South Ossetia and the Republic of South Ossetia in the Russian Federation.
The signing ceremony was held at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. The Agreement was signed by Foreign Ministers of South Ossetia and the Russian Federation M. Dzhioev and S. Lavrov.
The agreement provides for terms of precence and work of diplomatic missions of the Russian Federation in the Republic of South Ossetia and the Republic of South Ossetia in the Russian Federation.
The meeting was also attended by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Ossetia in the Russian Federation, D. Medoyev and Counselor of the Embassy of South Ossetia in the Russian Federation, A. Dzhioev.
