The South Ossetian frontier guards are supposed to take part in special boundary operations on the CIS territory. It has been reported today by the Deputy Head of the Frontier service of FSB in Russia, Colonel General Nikolay Kozik at the briefing in South Ossetia. As he has said, in 2011 it is planned carrying out two special boundary operations on the territory of the CIS. «First of all, it is a struggle against illegal migration on the borders of the Russian Federation, - Kozik has said. - With the concurrence of the President of the Republic of South Ossetia - Eduard Kokoity we are also planning to involve the South Ossetian frontier guards in implementing this operation».
Kozik has also informed that the Russian frontier guards are undergoing the command-staff maneuvers in South Ossetia «The Caucasus - 2011". «These maneuvers will pass from June, 25 to June, 30», - Kozik has noted.
