The delegation of the government of South Ossetia led by the Prime Minister Vadim Brovtsev has visited the 16th international exhibition "Agroprodmash-2011" which has been taking place in Moscow from August, 10 to August, 14. The delegation of South Ossetia has also included the Acting Minister for Economic Development of the RSO Batradz Parastaev and other officials. During the visit the delegation has held a meeting with the designers of the large objects of agro-industrial sector of the RSO for which development 900 million roubles were built into the investment program. These means are earmarked for constructing a milk plant, a meat-packing plant, and also a factory on processing vegetables and fruit. The Moscow Company «The Third Capital» is in charge of these objects engineering. At the exhibition the definitive version of the draft proposal has been coordinated with the management of this company. The South Ossetian delegation has also supported the offer of designers on creation the logistic centre on processing the manufactured production in Tskhinval. The Prime Minister has charged to finish designing of the mentioned facilities not later than the first decade of December of the current year and be ready for starting their construction. According to Brovtsev, the contracting building organization will be chosen on a competitive basis. Negotiations with some major foreign manufacturers of equipment for processing agricultural production have also been held in the course of the exhibition; they are pretending to participate in the competition for integration the future enterprises. According to the Prime Minister, taking into consideration a priority of agricultural development in South Ossetia, the most advanced and efficient equipment should be delivered to the Republic.
