CEC is preparing for the second round of presidential elections

November 27 a second round for presidential election will be held in the Republic of South Ossetia. As reported to IA "Res" by the Central Election Committee Chairman Bella Plieva, the number of territorial and divisional election committees in each district and in the town will be the same as in the first round.

"Some changes have taken place in the election committees, where the cases of infringement were revealed on November 13 during the referendum and the first round of presidential elections", - Plieva has informed. She has noted that it was already published the required number of ballots. "A number of ballots have been published in accordance with the data we have on the number of voters from all territorial and divisional election commissions. Currently, we are distributing the ballots to the territorial commissions ", - the CEC head said. The voters` lists will be tested again. According to Plieva, those additional voters' lists, which were introduced at the polls, both the town and the district are carefully being checked by the divisional election committees and then they will also be checked by the CEC. According to Plieva, the polling stations will be opened in Moscow and Sukhum and in the village the Upper Ruck for the voters, living in North Ossetia. The procedure of stamping the passports of citizens, who have already cast his vote for one of the two presidential candidates, will also be preserved. "The seal will be affixed once again, but it will have a different form. In addition, the polls have already issued two stamps in order not to delay the voting process, when the representatives of the commissions will visit the voters who cannot independently come and vote. The signatures of representatives of the candidates will also be preserved. Only on the back of the ballot we have deleted the transcript of a signature not to take a lot of time", - Plieva has explained. It should be reminded, that on November 13, presidential elections and a referendum on the state status of the Russian language were held in South Ossetia. 84 polling stations were opened in the Republic, one more in Moscow and Sukhum. No one of the 11 candidates for the presidency has won in the first round of the elections. In this regard, on November 27, a second round of the presidential election of South Ossetia will be conducted. Anatoly Bibilov with 24.86% and Alla Dzhioeva with 24.8% of the votes respectively will contest in the second round of the election.
