"Today we`ve received a list of the winners of this year Pushkin contest, that, in my opinion, is a marquee event for South Ossetia, taking into consideration the fact that the Republic is celebrating the Day of the Slavic literature - told Stepanov. - A range of wonderful activities, dedicated to celebration of this momentous day has already been held in the Republic. In particular, today a thematic party was organized in the village of Dmenis (Tskhinval district), which was attended by a large number of pupils from different schools of the district."
As a winner of the contest, Louisa Kokoeva informed IA "Res", the theme of the contest was: "The language will bring to the truth."
"Frankly, I did not expect such a result, for me it was important just to take part in the contest, but I am incredibly pleased that my essay was appreciated, so I tried to find out the truth in the language," - said Kokoeva.
Mikhail Stepanov congratulated the winners of the International Pushkin Contest on behalf of the Embassy of the Russian Federation and Russian Cooperation in South Ossetia, wishing them further success.
