Taking into accountthe U.S. role in supporting the Georgian chauvinist regime, there are not many people in South Ossetia who want to get the so-called ''neutral'' passports of Georgia.
This has been reported to IA "Res" by the Chairman of the Committee on Legislation, Law and Local Self-Government of the Parliament of South Ossetia Amiran Diaconov, commenting on the U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton during her visit to Georgia.
"If all the roads to the U.S are opened for the owners of these documents, I doubt that we `ll find a lot of people who `ll have a desire to get them", - said the deputy.

Referring to statements by Clinton's support of the "territorial integrity" of Georgia, Diaconov noted that "it is not in any way violated, and there is nothing to restore there."
"South Ossetia has never been a part of Georgia, so the independent status of our Republic in no way does not violate the territorial integrity of the State of Georgia", - said Diaconov.
He has added that the Parliament of South Ossetia in the near future plans to adopt amendments to the law on citizenship in order to introduce a residence permit in the Republic.
"If Mrs. Clinton expresses the wish to obtain a residence permit in South Ossetia, we will consider her request", - assured the MP.
It should be noted that the U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton during the two-day visit to Georgia, declared about the United States recognition of the Georgian "neutral passports" for the residents of South Ossetia and Abkhazia;she has also appealed toRussia to withdraw its troops from these republics.
