An exhibition of photographs related to the Republic of South Ossetia has opened in the Slovak Republic. The exhibition is organized within the frames of cooperation between the People's Party youth wing of South Ossetia under the chairmanship of Michael Kochiev and the Association of Slovak Youth led by Slavomir Yanchok.
The photo exhibition has been exposing in the capital of Slovakia - Bratislava, in the Russian center of science and culture August 8-25, 2012.
"It contains materials that providepictorial view of the natural beauty of South Ossetia, art and culture of our people. Promoting the exhibition could not take place without the active support and assistance of prominent representatives of the youth movement in Slovakia Slavomir Yanchok and Mary Granchikova "- said Michael Kochiev in his interview to IA "Res".
Chairman of the People's Party of South Ossetia Kazimir Pliev has noted that at the beginning of the school year in Tskhinval will take place a similar photo exhibition about Slovakia.
"Such kind of joint activities of young people of South Ossetia and Slovakia serve the high and noble purpose: they aim at establishing friendly relations between the youth of our two countries, between our peoples," - he stressed.
As noted by Slavomir Yanchok in the interview with a correspondent of IA "Res", the exhibition was being visited with great interest not only by the young generation but also by the older one.
It should be reminded that September 20, 2011, the Day of the Republic of South Ossetia, in Slovakia the youth wing of the Popular Party of South Ossetia and the Association of Slovak Youth signed a cooperation agreement.
