Two violators of the border regime have been detained in South Ossetia

Russian border guards detained in South Ossetia the border violator and found a cache of ammunition. As reported to IA "Res" by the press service of the Russian FSS Border Control Agency in the Republic, October 29, at the sector of "Balta" (Znaur district of South Ossetia) the border guards had detained a stranger, illegally crossed the state border of the Republic making his way from Georgia.

"The detainee had not the identity paper. As he has said, he is a citizen of Georgia who lives in the settlements of Koda. As explained by the detainee, he had violated the border in order to meet a woman- a citizen of the Russian Federation in the territory of South Ossetia, to convey her to Georgia to visit her relatives. As a result of the activities a female citizen of the Russian Federation, who had violated the border regime, while trying to reach Georgia, was also detained, "- has informed the press service of the Border Control Agency.
The violators were brought to administrative responsibility and handed over to the Border Service of KGB of South Ossetia for further proceedings.
According to the Russian Border Control Agency, on the same day at 16:45 at the sector of "Balaani" (Leningorsky district of South Ossetia) the border guards found a cache of ammunition, including 5 shots to the hand grenade launcher in the original packaging.
"The discovered ammunition was handed over to the Interior Ministryin accordance with the established procedure, "- has been said at the press service.
At 17:00 on the same day at the sector of Disev (Tskhinvali district of the Republic) the border guards found a cache with a 120-mm high-explosive mine.
