South Ossetian sportsmen Azamat Valiev, Ruslan Kumaritov and Sarmat Laliev won bronze at the X international boxing tournament in memory of the USSR master of sports Vladimir Emelyanov.

Along with the Russian boxers the contest is attended by teams of Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, and Poland ".
According to him the competitions are held among the athletes born in 1995-1996.
"Valiev and Kumaritov performed in the weight class up to 60 and 69kg, respectively, and Laliev - up to 56 kg. The teams of the tournament are very strong, so I am pleased with the performance of our young fighters, although they could perform more effectively, - continued the coach. - We are particularly pleased with Laliev, who by narrow margins in the battle for the finals in hard fight yielded the victory to the athlete from Latvia- the winner of the world championship. Laliev showed great fighting spirit and good technical training that was noted by many experts presented at the event. "
The coach said that four other South Ossetian fighters had made their way to the final of the tournament.
"It is remarkable that two athletes from Tskhinval Radion Kumaritov and Sarmat Kokoev will meet in the final in the weight class up to 81 kilograms. Vadim Gagloev and Esekkuev Amid will hold fights for first place in the weight class up to 50 kg and up to 64 ", - said Kokoev.
