Russian specialists will assist in improving the South Ossetian legislation

In Tskhinvalhas been held a meeting of the Russian interdepartmental working group on improving the legislation of South Ossetia with heads of the ministries and governmental agencies of the Republic. The meeting discussed the current state of legislation in South Ossetia and developing of a plan of measures aimed at its improvement.

The Deputy Chairman of the Intergovernmental Working Group Roman Denisov has noted that all proposals developed by the group will be advisory.
"The working interagency group is established under the order of the president of Russia. The main tasks of our group are – the analysis of the South Ossetian bill and the preparation of proposals and measures for its improvement ", - said Denisov.
As a basis, the Intergovernmental Panel will take the Russian legislation in the local context.
In turn, the Minister of Finance of South Ossetia Aza Khabalova informed the Russian experts on the current state of legislation.
"There are gaps in the law that must be improved, and the need to create something new," - said Khabalova.
It was noted that the intergovernmental group was working in two areas - in the public investment and in the ​​housing policy.
