The next meeting of the MPRI will be held today at the border of South Ossetia and Georgia

Today will be held the 32 meeting in the format of Mechanisms to prevent and respond to Incidents (MPRI). The meeting will be held in the Georgian village of Ergneti bordering South Ossetia.
The meeting will be attended by representatives of South Ossetia, Russia, Georgia and EUMM as well as the OSCE Mission.

As IA "Res" was informed at the office the presidential plenipotentiary envoy for post-conflict settlement, the meeting will focus on security in the territories adjacent to the state border of the Republic of South Ossetia.
"The South Ossetian side is again going to raise the issue of the situation in the village of Zardiantkari. Also on the agenda will be a question of placing another Georgian police post in the Georgian territory adjacent to South Ossetia- in the settlement of Zemo Nikozi," – was said at the office of the presidential plenipotentiary envoy.
It will also be discussed the issue of the citizens of South Ossetia being kept in Georgian prisons.
