A regular meeting in the format of MPRI will be held at the border between South Ossetia and Georgia

The 33rd meeting in the format of Mechanisms on Prevention and Reaction to Incidents (MPRI) will be held today in the Georgian village of Ergneti at the border between South Ossetia and Georgia.
As the news agency "Res" was informed at the office of the presidential envoy for post-conflict settlement, "the meeting will cover the issues of security in the areas adjacent to the state border of South Ossetia and Georgia. It will also be discussed the issues related to the citizens of South Ossetia, being kept in Georgian prisons, as well as the missing citizens of South Ossetia."

It is also planned to address humanitarian issues, in particular, the use of Tiriponsky canal, due to the need for irrigation by residents of the border villages of South Ossetia and Georgia. Also, the South Ossetian side will raise the issue of the situation in the village of Zardiantkari.
The meeting will be attended by representatives of South Ossetia, Russia, Georgia, the OSCE and the EUMM.
South Ossetian delegation is headed by Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of South Ossetia on post-conflict settlement Khokh Gagloyty.
