"There is nothing surprising or unexpected that Mikhail Saakashvili expressed his dissatisfaction with the speech by Bidzina Ivanishvili at the PACE session - on the contrary, it was expected, " said the South Ossetian Presidential Envoy for post-conflict settlement Murat Dzhioev in his interview with IA "Res," commenting on the dissatisfaction of the Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili with the speech of Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili on Tuesday at the session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.

"After the recent "revelations " of Saakashvili on the channel" Rustavi-2 "about his relationship with the new government, he has stated, "we are no longer in power," as well as numerous statements by Ivanishvili that it was Georgia that started military actions in South Ossetia in August 2008, and that "Saakashvili should not be surprised at subpoena," no one has doubt about the deep crisis within the higher level of Georgia ", - said the envoy.
According to him, Saakashvili is afraid of the new revelations, especially before Europe.
"It impressively confirms the validity of the conclusions of the independent EU commission that it was Georgia that started the war and, therefore, this confirms the guilt of Saakashvili and is the weighty argument that he has to appear before the court.
But we do not have euphoria about the contradictions within the Georgian authorities "- emphasized Dzhioev.
The envoy stressed that in relation to the Republic of South Ossetia both the former and the current government of Georgia had been adhering to one position.
"Therefore, it is important that any oral statements about their peaceful intentions should be supported by a legally binding bilateral agreement with South Ossetia on the non-use of force with solid international guarantees. Any other Georgian assurances such as "I swear by my mother" do not arouse the trust of the people of South Ossetia", - concluded the envoy.
