At the meeting in the framework of Mechanisms for preventing and responding to incidents (MPRI) again took place disinformation propaganda by representatives of the Georgian authorities, stated Deputy Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy of South Ossetia for post-conflict settlement Khokh Gagloyty after a meeting in the framework of MPRI in the Georgian village of Ergneti.

"At the meeting again took place disinformation propaganda by representatives of the Georgian authorities on the activities on arrangement of the state border of South Ossetia - said Gagloyty. - The Georgian side was presented a list of the villagers who "supposedly got problems," as well as maps of the four areas, accompanied by a very long general comment, without any specifics about the essence of the problems."
Gagloyty has noted that the South Ossetian side reminded of the agreement of the parties, reached at a previous meeting in the framework of MPRI. "We have agreed to present more specific problems in order to understand what the question is, and whether each party can solve this problem or not. In this regard, the South Ossetian side drew attention to the co-moderators meetings in the framework of MPRI that due to the continuation of such practice of asking questions, the format of MPRI to some extent turned into a platform of disinformation propaganda against the state border line, spread by representatives of the Georgian authorities," - Gagloyty said.
According to Gagloyty at the meeting were raised issues concerning rural water supply.
"According to the Georgian side, waste waters to the south of Tskhinval flow into the canal that is in the northern part of the Georgian village of Nikozi, but it was only verbal communication, and we expect more detailed information on this issue," – said Gagloyty.
The Deputy Envoy has added that during the meeting was also noted the desirability of restoring the water reservoir from which water flows into the Georgian village of Koshka.
"The South Ossetian side asked how long this problem existed and not receiving a definite answer, fully laid the blame for the failure to resolve this issue on the Georgian side, for about five months ago, they had raised this question, along with the issue of water supply in the area Mugut-Dhwani. We asked the cartographic material "Mugut-Dhwani." Material on the reservoir, leading to the village of Koshka, has been presented only today. The Georgian side has fully admitted its fault."
Gagloyty has noted that the South Ossetian and Georgian sides have come to a mutual understanding on the issue on the organization of uninterrupted power supply to the village of Karzman in Dzau district of South Ossetia, where lives the Georgian population.
"There were problems with electrical poles delivery for uninterrupted power supply to the village of Karzman - said Gagloyty. - In view of the difficulties associated with road connections to this village from the nearest settlement, we needed authorization for transportation of electrical poles throughout a small section of the Georgian territory; then we did not meet with support of the Georgian side, but today they have expressed willingness to address this issue, let's see how it will be in practice."
At the meeting was also discussed border security in the territory of South Ossetia.
"Was described in detail statistics of incidents on the state border, - said Gagloyty. - A lot of attention was paid to the situation in the area to the south of the village of Diseu, which is to the west of the village of Korcula. There we have not agreed understanding with the Georgian side on the state border line, there is no identity of the presented cartographic material. After a long discussion, we`ve agreed that the work with maps will continue and the question enters the realm of the work of experts. It should be noted that both sides in their approach presume to maintain stability, to avoid any thoughtless actions."
Regarding prisoners in the South Ossetian and Georgian prisons Gagloyty has noted that at the last meeting the parties agreed to provide each other with lists of detainees in prisons of South Ossetia and Georgia.
"We have passed this list today, the Georgian side has not yet passed it," - concluded Gagloyty.
