South Ossetia was able to form a specific investment climate, creating the conditions for starting business; with this purpose in the Republic are adopted normative acts in the field of investment law, stated the President of South Ossetia Leonid Tibilov, answering viewers' questions live on TV "IR."
According to him, the result of this work is the interest of foreign investors, and above all, businessmen – Ossetiaты by birth.
"For the second year in Tskhinval has been functioning a garment factory, launched thanks to our compatriot Taymuraz Bolloev. It provided jobs for more than three hundred citizens of the Republic, the company plans to expand its work, to open branches in all districts of the Republic, "- said Leonid Tibilov.
According to him, the number of agreements reached with other Ossetian entrepreneurs –the owner of big business in Russia - the founder of the largest Russian agricultural holding "Evrodon" Vadim Vaneev.
"He is ready to propose projects in the field of agriculture, in particular on the development of greenhouse agriculture and the establishment of meat-processing complex," - said the president.
Leonid Tibilov has said that plans to invest in the economy of the Republic have also been discussed with Albert Dzhussoev – the president of the group of companies "Stroyprogress" which laid the gas pipeline "Dzuarikau-Tskhinval."
In addition, the President has noted that Russian investors, in particular, the company «Damate», are ready to invest in the construction and launch of a major breeding complex in Znaur district of the Republic, which also will provide additional jobs.
"It has already been spent 235 million rubles for its construction. The expertise showed that the work on the facility had been done qualitatively,"- said Tibilov.
He has noted that these projects will be able to be implemented with the support of the Investment Agency, tasked with attracting foreign investments into the Republic.
The Head of State has assured that the work on the creation of an attractive investment image of South Ossetia will be vigorously pursued in the future.
