Minister of Culture of South Ossetia Madina Ostaeva is taking part in the III St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum, which is taking place these days in the cultural capital of Russia.
"By the decree of the President of the Russian Federation is declared the Year of Culture. The St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum is one of the key events to be held within this year. "
As part of the forum are being held celebrations dedicated to the 250th anniversary of the founding of the State Hermitage - the largest Russian and one of the world's largest encyclopedic art museums.
Within the frames of the event are also being held- a meeting of heads of regions of the Russian Federation, the Round Table "Cultural Policy in Russia "meeting "without ties" with the participation of Ministers of Culture, the final plenary session.
There are 14 working sections at the forum, attended by representatives of federal and regional executive and legislative authorities, the artistic directors and directors of the leading cultural institutions, higher cultural educational institutions of culture of Russia, as well as leading European theaters, circuses and concert venues.
The Forum is organized by the Government of the Russian Federation, the Government of St. Petersburg, with the support of the RF Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation.
