Leonid Tibilov led Anatoly Bibilov to his office and once again wished him good luck in his future work, expressing confidence that all the plans that are available will be implemented in the name of the people and the Republic.
"Thank you for today's meeting. This suggests that there are laws in a state that must be observed. There is continuity, and it must be preserved. The elections were held and you won them. I congratulate you once again on assuming office of the President of the Republic of South Ossetia. I am sure that all plans will be implemented for our people, for the Republic, "said Leonid Tibilov.
President Anatoly Bibilov thanked Leonid Tibilov for the electoral program, which he estimated to be at a worthy level.
"We held civilized elections in our country - this shows the democracy of our society. All our next steps should be aimed at preserving these principles. I am very grateful to you for the work you have done since 2012. I am convinced that the foundations that you have laid and the work that you have done will be used for the further development of our Republic, our society, for our people. We will communicate with you and consult on those issues that need to be addressed in our Republic, "the president said.
Anatoly Bibilov has stressed that the experience of holding elections at such a high level should be preserved and strengthened.
"Once again thank you for the fact that the elections in our country were held at a high level, at a level of democracy that was noted by international observer. I am sure that democracy and openness of the elections should be preserved and strengthened, "the president added.
At the end of the meeting Leonid Tibilov wished Anatoly Bibilov health and success in his future work.
"These five years I was working honestly for our people and the Republic. I will continue to live in my country and will always, if necessary, provide assistance. I will support the kindest relations with you that should be in every democratic state. Much remains to be done, but the relations that are developing today with the Russian Federation, contribute to the realization of all plans in the name of our people. Thank you again for today's meeting. I wish you health and success in your future work, "said Tibilov.
