Foreign Minister of South Ossetia Dmitry Medoev will take part in the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Nauru. About this Medoev told reporters at a press conference.
"January 31 the Republic of Nauru will celebrate the 50th anniversary of independence. This is an important event for the population of Nauru, and we, of course, will visit this country, - the Minister said. - We are grateful to the leadership of Nauru for the step they have taken, recognizing the independence of our country."
Touching upon the foreign-policy activity of the Republic of South Ossetia, Medoev has noted that this year will continue the work on establishing relations with various countries of the world.
"We have plans to visit countries around the world within the framework of the foreign policy concept, approved by President Anatoly Bibilov," - Medoev said.
