A well-known British journalist and blogger Graham William Phillips made a new film - "Two weeks in South Ossetia". This is reported by "Komsomolskaya Pravda".
Graham said that soon a documentary could be seen on his YouTube channel.
"After the movie "Briton in the Crimea" in English, I'm happy to say that my next feature-length film will be again in Russian. The film is called "Two weeks in South Ossetia", the journalist said.
It is possible that later the film by Graham Phillips can be seen in one of the cinemas in Moscow. The last premiere of Phillips` film "Briton in the Crimea" took place in the Russian capital.
"There are interesting things in South Ossetia, which makes it possible to make reports not only for the Russian audience, but also for the English audience, who heard a very different version of what happened in 2008," Graham said.
Graham Phillips achieved fame due to his journalistic activities during the events of the Kiev Maydan and during the aggression of the Ukrainian authorities against the people's republics of Donbas.
He turned out to be one of the few European journalists who questioned the dominant Western version of the situation in Ukraine.
In January, Graham Phillips visited South Ossetia at the invitation of the Foreign Minister of South Ossetia Dmitry Medoev.
Among the reasons that prompted him to come to South Ossetia, Phillips in an interview with the agency "Res" called the lack of information about the Republic in the information space of Europe.
He has noted that hefilmed a lot of reports about the situation in the Crimea and the Donbas, but there is much less information about South Ossetia.
"In England, little is known about South Ossetia. After Dmitry Medoev's invitation, I tried to find videos about South Ossetia on YouTube, but there were very few ones, and I decided to correct this situation. I want to make a truthful reporting about the country, to refute the propaganda of the NATO side that it is a gangster republic, "the British journalist said.
Phillips hopes that by means of the documentary and a series of reporting, he will be able to gather the target audience and cause a great information resonance.
"Ten years have passed since the August 2008 war, this is a significant date, and many are interested in how events are developing in South Ossetia," he added.
Phillips believes that in recent years much attention has been paid to the Crimea, but according to him, South Ossetia is no less significant.
The guest from England also noted the extraordinary beauty of the South Ossetian mountains and the hospitality of the Ossetian people.
The British journalist has assured that if his film about South Ossetia is successful, he will definitely return to the Republic.
