The leading parties of South Ossetia and Syria will hold consultations on topical issues on the bilateral and international agenda, as well as to exchange delegations, told the Res news agency the leader of the party "United Russia" Alan Tadtaev.
According to him, the development of the Syrian-South Ossetian inter-party cooperation became possible after the signing of the agreement between the "United Ossetia" and the Party of Arab Socialist Revival (BAATH).
Tadtaev has stressed that the South Ossetian party intends to actively use the opening perspectives.
"We will actively cooperate, hold joint consultations and exchange information on topical issues of the bilateral and international agenda. We also plan to exchange experience in the field of party building, organizational work, youth policy, international relations and other areas of mutual interest, "the leader of the "United Ossetia," said.
According to Tadtaev, both parties also intend to regularly exchange party delegations at various levels, organizing meetings of experts and other bilateral events.
"United Ossetia" consider that the agreement with BAATH is a breakthrough in inter-party activities.
"BAATH has a leading position in the parliament of Syria and has great influence in the country. I believe that the signing of the cooperation agreement with the BAATH Party has become a breakthrough for us in the inter-party activities, "Tadtaev said.
