The 48th round of Geneva discussions will be held on July 2-3

The South Ossetian delegation went to Geneva to participate in the next round of the Geneva discussions. It was stressed that the South Ossetian side was determined to continue the work within the Geneva Discussions, an important international platform, on preparing a legally binding document on the non-use of force by Georgia against South Ossetia, which would have firm international guarantees, despite the actions of the Georgian party and its Western backers on braking works in this direction, ”said the head of the South Ossetian delegation, the Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy of the of the Republic, Murat Dzhioev.

The meeting also includes discussions on humanitarian issues, including those related to the search for missing citizens of the Republic of South Ossetia, cultural heritage issues and others.
