The South Ossetian Foreign Ministry representative in Italy attended a memorial service in Bologna and presented the new Peace Prize

The South Ossetian Foreign Ministry representative in Italy, Mauro Murgia, took part in the memorial events commemorating the 46th anniversary of the terrorist attack at the Bologna train station.

In 1980, the explosion at the station killed 85 people and injured over 200, becoming the largest terrorist attack in Italy's modern history. In memory of the victims, August 2 was declared Remembrance Day for the Victims of All Mass Murders in Italy.
