South Ossetian Health Minister Thomas Dzhigkaev discussed the upcoming medical forum in Tskhinval with his Russian counterpart, Mikhail Murashko.

According to the press service of the RSO Health Ministry, the meeting took place at the Russian Health Ministry.

"During the meeting, the heads of the ministries discussed current issues in the healthcare sector and the upcoming medical forum in South Ossetia, which is scheduled for September 15-16," the press service has noted.

A conference was held at the Republican Multidisciplinary Medical Center (RMMC) of Tskhinval with the participation of leading specialists in the Bakulev cardiovascular surgery and the South Ossetian doctors.

The event was opened by Deputy Health Minister of the Republic Alena Pukhaeva.

On Thursday, the Embassy of South Ossetia in the Russian Federation took part in the farewell ceremony in connection with the death of the General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong.
