The Thai representatives learned about the history of South Ossetia and its tourism prospects

A meeting between Foreign Minister Akhsar Dzhioev and Deputy Minister of Economic Development Albert Tekhov with a delegation from the Kingdom of Thailand took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Ossetia. This was reported by the Ministry's press service.

The Thai representatives arrived in South Ossetia on a fact-finding visit.

During the meeting, Akhsar Dzhioev told the guests in detail about the history, culture, and traditions of South Ossetia and the Ossetian people.

The South Ossetian Foreign Ministry representative in Italy attended a memorial service in Bologna and presented the new Peace Prize

The South Ossetian Foreign Ministry representative in Italy, Mauro Murgia, took part in the memorial events commemorating the 46th anniversary of the terrorist attack at the Bologna train station.
 
In 1980, the explosion at the station killed 85 people and injured over 200, becoming the largest terrorist attack in Italy's modern history. In memory of the victims, August 2 was declared Remembrance Day for the Victims of All Mass Murders in Italy.

South Ossetia will honor the memory of the victims of the August War

South Ossetia will host commemorative events dedicated to the 18th anniversary of the Georgian aggression against the Republic in August 2008.

As reported to IA Red by the republican commission for the preparation and holding of nationally significant events, the commemorative program will begin on August 1.

In the lead-up to the anniversary, the republican media will publish materials about the August 2008 events, as well as archival photos and videos, documentaries, and memoirs dedicated to the defenders of South Ossetia and the tragic events of the war.

Akhsar Dzhioev noted the heroism of the defenders of Transnistria

The Ossetian people, who have experienced the bitterness of armed aggression firsthand, share the pain of their Transnistrian brothers and bow their heads in memory of their heroes, the message of Foreign Minister Akhsar Dzhioev to his Transnistrian counterpart, Vitaly Ignatyev, reads.

Dzhioev sent the PMR Minister words of sympathy and support on the Day of Remembrance for the Fallen and Deceased Defenders of Transnistria.
