The head of the Lugansk People’s Republic Leonid Pasechnik held a working meeting with the President of the Republic of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov who arrived in Lugansk, reports LuganskInformCentre.
“We are pleased to welcome you to our land. Very warm and friendly relations have developed between our republics,” Pasechnik addressed the leader of South Ossetia.
In turn, Bibilov noted that he had arrived on a working visit to his good friend. -head of the LPR,
"I am very pleased, and our meetings are always warm and positive, and I think that we will transmit this positive to our peoples so that this rapprochement of people who are connected by a common past, who have the same values, continues to develop," said the President.
Pasechnik reminded that an agreement on friendship, cooperation and mutual assistance was signed and is being actively implemented between the LPR and South Ossetia.
“Certainly, we will be developing in these areas (of cooperation). It is great that we continue to develop as republics and in cooperation, including in socio-economic and political spheres, and I hope that we will continue to we will continue to work in the same direction, "said the head of the LPR.

Pasechnik and Bibilov during the meeting discussed plans to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
