The chief sanitary doctor explained that nine of those who are in quarantine in hospitals were placed in the isolation ward t of the Republican Medical Center, and ten in the Republican hospital.
From April 12, there were increased fines for citizens who violated the regime of self-isolation and quarantine. According to Marina Kochieva, those who violate the legislation in the field of ensuring the sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population, and who do not comply with the requirements of the body performing state sanitary and epidemiological surveillance, will be fined.
“If earlier the fine was a small amount from 500 to 1000 rubles, today it will be in the amount of 15 000 to 40 000 rubles. People who are in quarantine and at home isolation are checked every day by representatives of the internal affairs bodies and employees of medical institutions. This is still administrative impact, but if the need arises, we will bring them to criminal liability, "said Kochieva.
The leadership of the Republic is taking the most stringent measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection COVID-19. The Government of South Ossetia adopted a number of resolutions to tighten measures, a ban was introduced in the Republic on holding cultural and sports events, all educational institutions of the Republic are quarantined.
