In South Ossetia, have been recorded 23 cases of infection with COVID-19.

Cabinet of South Ossetia extended restrictive measures until May 31. All public places remain closed, except for food and non-food stores, beauty salons and workshops. The border of South Ossetia with the Russian Federation is completely closed from May 10 to 17, and restrictions on movement through the state border are imposed until May 31.
The first three cases of infection in the Republic were recorded on May 6.
