130 people are in quarantine in South Ossetia, over 60 have been discharged

South-Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee has tested for coronavirus another 76 quarantined citizens, all the results are negative, 61 people have been discharged, Deputy Head of the department Anna Gagloeva told IA “Res” on Tuesday.

130 people are under observation in quarantine, a day earlier -188.

"In total, as of Tuesday morning, there are 109 people in the Republic's medical institutions, 54 in the RMMC, 22 in the isolation ward, while there are no patients with a laboratory-confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19, in the Znaur hospital - 15 (11 people were discharged the day before), in the Leningor hospital - 18. At the hotel "Alan" - 10 people (50 people were discharged the day before), 8 builders are quarantined on the special premises , and two ICC employees are quarantined at the department, "Gagloeva said.

Since May 4391 people have been tested for coronavirus in the Republic.

In total, 89 people infected with coronavirus have been detected and recovered since May; all of them were in quarantine in the medical institutions.

Until August 31, restrictions on crossing the border with Russia have been extended, while since August 1, some easing of restrictions have been introduced for a certain category of citizens of the RSO.

This category of citizens (who have had coronavirus and who have antibodies) will be in their homes, but according to the receipt given by them, under the supervision of doctors.

Exemption from 14-day quarantine on arrival in the RSO applies only to citizens who have undergone SARS-CoV-2 (coronavirus), subject to the mandatory provision of the results of all three of the following studies: 1. Determination of SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus RNA by PCR 2. Determination of IG G antibodies to SARS-CoV-2 by ELISA 3. Determination of IG M antibodies to SARS-CoV-2 by ELISA.
