On October 18, the largest musical theater in Russia, the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theater, will host a gala concert of the opera singer, soloist of the Novosibirsk Academic Opera and Ballet Theater, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, People's Artist of South and North Ossetia, laureate of the international competitions Veronika Dzhioeva. As Veronika Dzhioeva herself told IA "Res" the gala concert with the participation of the theater's opera troupe soloists will be dedicated to doctors and all medical workers of Novosibirsk and the Novosibirsk region.
“Our concert is an expression of sincere gratitude to those who today help thousands of people in the fight against the disease, fulfilling their medical duty. We believe in the healing power of art, in the wonderful ability of music to fill the world with bright emotions and ennoble souls,” the opera diva notes.
It should be noted that the idea to hold a concert program for all those who are at the forefront of the fight against the pandemic today was suggested by world Opera star Veronika Dzhioeva, the NOVAT leadership supported the singer's initiative. The concert program will feature the golden pages of Russian and foreign opera classics. Along with Veronika Dzhioeva, the concert will be attended by soloists of the NOVAT Opera Company and guest stars - Sergei Kuzmin, Sergei Stepanyan.
Veronika Dzhioeva is also a diploma winner of the Golden Mask national theater festivals. In July 2018,took place her solo concert in Rome, at the Argentina Theater, then a tour in South Korea. In May and June 2019, Veronica performed as Amelia at the Czech Opera. In 2020, performances are planned at the Zurich Opera as Aida, and then at the Finnish Opera as Leonora (Troubadour); in 2022she plans to perform Turandot at the Finnish Opera.
She regularly participates in music festivals in Russia and abroad. In 2017, the first festival of Veronica Dzhioeva took place on the stage of the Novosibirsk Opera (in 2019, two more festivals were held in Novosibirsk, the festival of Veronica Dzhioeva is planned in July 2020). Also, the singer's personal festivals are held in her homeland in Alania and Moscow. She has repeatedly participated in the contemporary art festival "Territory," in Moscow. She had concerts in the UK, Spain, Italy, France, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Sweden, Estonia, Lithuania, Japan, China, South Korea and the USA. She has worked with such conductors as Maris Jansons, Valery Gergiev, Trevor Pinkock, Ingo Metzmacher, Theodor Currentzis, Jacques Van Steen, Daniele Callegari, Mario Carminatti, Hartmut Henchen and others. She has recorded the albums "Opera Arias" (conductor Alim Shakhmametyev; 2006), "Ritorna Vincitor!" (Kaunas City Symphony Orchestra, conductor Konstantin Orbelian; Delos Records, 2019). The album "Ritorna Vincitor" was nominated in 2019 for the prestigious International Classical Music Awards-2020. The voice of Veronica Dzhioeva sounds in the television films “Monte Cristo”, “Vasilievsky Island” and others.
She is a guest soloist of the Bolshoi Theater of Russia. She performs on the stages of leading theaters and concert halls in the world, takes part in productions and concert programs in Russia, China, South Korea, Great Britain, Spain, Italy, Japan, USA, Estonia and Lithuania, Germany, Finland and other countries.
